Comedy Course for Kids
Here's the chance for your child (aged 9 to 15) to release their hidden (or less hidden) comedian. under the tutelage of the brilliant Logan Murray.
This 3-day course (starting Friday 5th and finishing Sunday 7th July with an afternoon performance at the theatre) will follow the usual process with Logan guiding them through writing their own material and how to perform.
VENUE - The Demebe Theatre
DATES - Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July
COURSE SIZE - Maximum of 15 children
AGE - 10 to 15 years
The course is being run in a careful and inclusive way to ensure the children are happy and safe. All required DBS documentation has been sorted by those running the course.

Every year, the wonderful Logan Murray has trained a group of local adults to perform their debut stand up show at the Roving Comedy Night. This time, he’s going to do this for Kids!!!
Over the course of a weekend, he will coach, manage, enlighten, and coax the comic brilliance out of each and every child who undergoes the comedy transformation.
The course will start on Friday after school, and run throughout Saturday, then Sunday morning before the finished performance on Sunday afternoon, on the main stage at the theatre!
All training will take place at the theatre. Adults will not be required to stay, but children will need to bring their own food and drink.
Details about the Sunday afternoon performance will be released closer to the event.
