Star of Mock the Week, Russell Howard’s Good News, Dave’s One Night Stand and Stand Up For The Week, Carl Donnelly has fast established himself as one of the most exciting young comedians around. His conversational style and silly sense of humour saw him win a host of awards (Chortle Best Newcomer 2007, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2007, Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Nominee 2009) and become a regular at all of the finest comedy clubs in the UK and Ireland.
Carl's appearance at the Tringe 2012 was one of the highlights of the festival. This is sure to be a fantastic evening.
"Gripping, unmissable stand-up"
The Guardian
Lucy is a hugely talented comedy actress and writer. In August 2011 she was a finalist in the Guilded Balloon's nationwide stand-up comedy competition So You Think You're Funny? Lucy has toured the UK with premieres such as Ladies Day (Hull Truck Theatre), Ladies Down Under and Up the Duff. She has a number of radio credits including Land of Green Ginger (Radio 4), Baby Bird (Radio 3) and Crush (Radio 3); a 90 minute monologue for which she received a Sony Radio Award in 2010. Winner of the BBC Radio Two New Comedy Award 2012.
"Lucy Beaumont has intriguing appeal and devastating comic timing."
The Stage
"Lucy Beaumont has that intangible 'something' that gives her an innately charismatic stage presence. She's slight and vulnerable, a bit ditzy, and utterly charming."
Steve Bennett, Chortle
Tommy started performing stand up late in 2010. Six months later he was a finalist in the 2011 Laughing Horse New Act competition and he won So You Think You're Funny later that year. In 2012 he performed as part of the AAA late night show at the Edinburgh Fringe and was a finalist in BBC Radio 2's New Comedy Award. Tommy wrote, directed and acted in the award-winning short film Arrowman Sam, for which he was Cinemagic's Young Filmmaker of the Year 2005 and was shortlisted for Broadcast Young Talent's Young Writer of the Year award. Since then he has written for Baby Cow Productions, World Productions, and BBC Comedy.
"A distinctive voice. This Welsh weirdo creates a quirky, oddball world – but one with which the rest of us can still easily identify. The anecdotes are full of detailed aside and delivery with perfectly-judged timing"
Chortle. Steve Bennett
